Leading of the Holy Spirit.....

John 15:5 "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing."

Jesus is letting His disciples know the true relationship between He and them.

They are completely dependant on Him for everything spiritual, and He emphatically stresses, "Without Me you can do NOTHING"....

Now, before leaving this world to return to His Father, He knew that they had no real concept of what was actually happening in terms of His death and resurrection, so He lovingly prepares them- "...I tell you the truth,
it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you, but if I depart, I will send Him to you (John 16:7)"....

He shows them the intimate relationship within the Godhead- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit- "But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me".

Never lose sight of this truth, Christian- The Holy Spirit always bears witness to the truth of the pure Gospel of Jesus Christ, always testifies of Him, and always leads people to Him.

On earth, Jesus pointed people back to the Father, and since His death and resurrection, the Holy Spirit leads lost humanity to the risen Lord of all of creation, Jesus Christ, the Messiah, as the only Divinely accepted sacrifice for the sin of the whole world.

Any teaching that would take you away from these truths must be identified and rejected, for the Holy Ghost will support only God's truth.

Praise His Holy Name, He made the way so clear to mankind, and so simple that any fool or wayward man could understand it!.....

Ever since Jesus' resurrection, believers were and are to be totally dependent on the Holy Spirit in our walk with Christ- This is God's will and design.

Yet today we see believers doing many other things, don't we?

So many Christians are getting involved in 'seeker-friendly' classes, in 'church-growth' programs, in various method teaching- all designed to reach today's unbeliever, as if TODAY'S unbeliever was somehow lost in a different way than the rest of lost humanity throughout history, or that they now must be reached through other avenues than their spirit, and the Holy Spirit can no longer reach them through the anointed presenting of the Gospel of Christ! .....

When did we cease depending on the Spirit whom our Savior sent as promised, and who He said would lead us into all truth (John 16:13)?

When did the Body of Christ decide that there was perhaps a more sophisticated or clever way to share the Savior with the unsaved?

How can we honestly expect to be successful in reaching the lost with our silly programs and methods, when only the Spirit of God can bring a soul to Christ, and yet we're so unwilling to depend and lean on Him in the process? ......

Christian, do you want to see the lost truly be brought to Christ?

Do you want to be involved in bringing them in?

Then cease with all of your self-confidence, your fleshly methods, your arrogance, and begin to seek to be lead of the Spirit of the Lord.

He can do what we can't.

Trust Him.

Beloved, there is no other way.

The Bible, Our support letter

As Christians, we have all the support we will ever need written in the Bible.

Man has no control whatsoever over God’s promised provision.

When God opens the windows of heaven to pour out a blessing, no man can stop it.

He opens doors no man can shut and shuts doors no man can open.

When God gives us the green light, we are unstoppable.

We need not kiss up to man or depend on man for anything at anytime.

God is on the throne and not man.

God’s thoughts toward us are good and his blessings are bountiful.

We need not ever trust in our self or anyone else.

The Bible has never asked us to trust in ourselves or the child within us, or the hero inside.

If you ever found the child within you ‘he or she’ would be corrupt and you will never find a hero inside of you.

When Jesus returns every eye will see him.

All they who pierced him will look upon him to see the price that God paid for the redemption of mankind and none of us will be exempt.

All of us who pierced him will see him because it was our sins that nailed him there.

It was on an old rugged cross that God provided us with a savior when he offered up his only begotten Son.

Jesus died a brutal death in our place shedding his own innocent blood.

There is absolutely nothing innocent about our blood: No innocent child within; no hero, no way of self help.

Our hope is in the Lord.

Only One Way To God?

Is There Really Only One Way To God?.......and is Jesus Christ the one and true way?

There have been about three times in my own life in which that question, in differing forms, has hit me right between the eyes and made me ponder for a minute just what the absolute truth about a genuine relationship with Christ was really about......

The first time occurred when I was just a boy.

I wasn't saved yet, and I didn't have much of a grasp of Christ, the Bible, sin, or anything spiritual, but I had been to church a number of times, and thought I was a believer.

A friend asked me if I believed the bible, and I replied, "yes".

He instantly challenged me with his incredulous question, "Does that sound like a merciful God- sending you to hell just because you don't believe in his son?"

I was blindsided by his question (as well as his attitude) because I had never before in my young life really been challenged about the Gospel, or about why I believed what I believed (or thought I believed)......

The second time I was quickly challenged about my faith (and I was truly born-again at that point, having been apprehended by the Lord at twenty years of age) was in a wheat field on a summer job as I was sharing the Gospel with a co-worker.

The man retorted, "That sounds like a threat!"

Again, I was taken back for a moment, trying to figure out just how to respond.....

The third time happened as I was leading a Bible study a few years ago, when a man asked, "Sincere Muslims aren't wrong, as long as they really believe, right?"...

All of these questions seem poignant and honest, don't they?

We as believers in Christ and His Gospel must understand though, that we do not come from the position of a neutral world view.

If we did, then who could say who's right and who's wrong about eternal life and the true condition of a soul?

We in fact DO come from a Biblical world view- a view which clearly states that mankind is helplessly and hopelessly dead in sin, and that only God Himself could and did take the initiative in bringing lost humanity back into a right relationship with Him through the substitution death and subsequent resurrection of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ......

One of the first scriptures we learn as new Christians is John 14:6- "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me."

 So simple, really.

But an unsaved individual must be confronted with the fact that they are lost.

If they cannot see that, then they'll never really see the need for a savior. Jesus didn't just die and rise from the dead to be our friend- He did it to bring us to the Father and deliver us from eternal damnation.....

Objections to the Gospel will not take us by surprise, and answering them will be considerably easier when we realize just what world view we espouse, and the lost will be forced to look at their own spiritual condition and seriously consider it as we make it clear to them that Jesus takes us FROM death and hell, and TO salvation and life- eternal life.

Satan's Bait ( A repost from several years ago, Sunday, November 24, 2013)

Have You Been Offended By Others?

When I went through a divorce I lost everything that I had worked so hard for during the years of my youth. I was flat broke.
.
The district attorney's office had taken my drivers license from me and my contractors license from me because i could not pay child support.
.
The economy was really bad and jobs were few.
.
This went on for four years.
.
So I was not allowed to drive nor earn a living to get out of my situation.
 I was beat down bad.
.
I think it was the lowest point that I had ever been in my life.
.
I can certainly see how some of the homeless may have ended up homeless.
.
I was not going to go there, I had determined on not giving up.
.
When I went into the district attorney's office, to complain about the Checkmate situation that I was in, the woman who I talked with told me to, "Win the lottery or rob a bank."
.
I was totally shocked and she could see it in my eyes so she pointed to a sign on the wall behind her that said, "No tape recorders."
.
I was blown away by her attitude.
.
All I was requesting was a conditional permit to drive back and forth to a job so I could survive.
 "No way," she said.
.
 She would not budge.
.
A coffee shop friend named Steve knew of my plight.
.
He was a shoe salesmen at a company called Timberland.
.
Steve had some floor models of new shoes that were my size.
 .
The styles were outdated but they were new. So Steve, a practicing buddhist, gave me an incredible deal of six new pairs of shoes for $15.00.
.
My youngest sister gave me a new shirt and some slacks for my birthday. I was so blessed and rejoiced in my heart before the Lord!
.
So the point that I am going to make is how some people will become evil in their hearts when they see someone else prosper.
.
My two good friends at this time of my life had invited me to go with them to dinner at a local restaurant.
.
We all rode in one of my friends car to the restaurant.
 .
The friend that owned the car got jealous when he heard about the great deal I had gotten on the shoes.
.
And he also seemed upset that I was wearing new clothes with my new shoes.
.
It was really weird for me.
.
He was so jealous that he would not give me a ride home he actually pulled over and kicked me out!
I had to call my sister up for a ride home.
.
My friend did not rejoice with me in my blessings, instead he allowed a firey dart from the enemy to take a hold of his heart.
.
Recently I encountered this again with another friend.
.
 What happens to people?
.
Why do they not rejoice over others blessings in life?
.
There is also another scenario that can happen to people if they are not watchful over the door to their hearts.
.
Satan is always on the look out for ways to entrap us and render us ineffective for the Lord's usage in ministry. Anyone bound up in Jealousy or Bitterness is worthless to the Lord for ministry.
.
In Acts 8 we see Peter speaking to Simon about what he perceives in Simon's heart.
.
22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee. 23 For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.

At this time, even though he had been baptized, Simon appears to have not confessed Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, as usually when people believe in Christ as their Savior, they immediately receive the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:13;Romans 8:9;Ephesians 1:13-14).
.
However, "the Holy Spirit had not yet come" (Acts 8:16) into Simon by the laying of hands.
When we harbor jealousy or bitterness in our hearts we get bound up by evil, the bond of iniquity.
.
Hebrews 12:15looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled;
.
How do we get released from this? Scripture warns us that a root of bitterness will defile and infect others if left alone to fester.
.
There is a man who has ought against Calvary Chapel.
.
He grew so bitter over the years that he started a website against Calvary Chapel specifically.
 .
Everywhere that this man appears on others blogs he spews his bitterness.
.
Over time I watched as his faith suffered shipwreck and he began to question  everything about Christianity and became a doubter.
.
He is not pleasing God.
.

Hebrews 11:6

New International Version (NIV)
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Recently I was on the phone with someone and got 'slimed.'
.
There was something of Satan in their heart towards me.
.
Something about me or something I may have said trapped them in a root of bitterness.
This is why I felt it pertinent to post on this topic this morning.
. After I got off the phone I could feel the root of bitterness from the person towards me sliming me for hours.
.
It wasn't until later in the evening while I listened to some worship that I got a release from the 'sliming.'
. The power of the slime to oppress me certainly was not coming from the Holy Spirit. Where was the power coming from?
.
Satan!
.
A root from Satan was in their heart towards me.
. Here is an excellent resource for understanding how Satan operates in these things and how we can escape and protect ourselves.

 Bait of Satan

Taking offence can trap you. Learn how to not be ensnared in victim mentality and walk in forgiveness. Satan is laying traps for you, and his most deceptive snare is attacks on your person. Learn how to respond to hurts and insults in a godly way.

OFFENCE (OFFENSE) 1. skandalon ^4625^ originally was "the name of the part of a trap to which the bait is attached, hence, the trap or snare itself.
"In NT skandalon is always used metaphorically, and ordinarily of anything that arouses prejudice, or becomes a hindrance to others, or causes them to fall by the way. Sometimes the hindrance is in itself good, and those stumbled by it are the wicked. (from Vine's Expository Dictionary of Biblical Words)
(Copyright (C) 1985, Thomas Nelson Publishers)

The Readers Digest Universal Dictionary defines " to take offence" as a) to become angered, b) displeased, c) resentful, d) even to feel hurt. " To offend as to a) create or excite anger, b) resentment or annoyance, c) or hurt the feelings of, d) to be displeasing or disagreeable to.

Have you been trapped?
This book exposes one of Satan's most deceptive snares used to pull believers out of God's will. It is the trap of offence.
Jesus said, "It is impossible that offences will not come" (Luke 17:1).
Nevertheless, most people who are ensnared by the bait of Satan don't even realise it. So don't be fooled!
You Will encounter offence, and it's up to you how you're going to let it affect your relationship with God.
Your response will determine your future. You can be delivered from the bait of Satan, stay free from offence and escape the victim mentality. Don't let another's sin or mistake affect your relationship with God!

Many who were involved with Shekinah Fellowship left because they were offended. Some were harshly treated and wrongly accused.

When offence comes upon us we must deal with it or become ensnared. If ensnared, and not properly dealt with, the offence leads to bitterness. Bitterness destroys.

Hebrews 12:15looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled;

Ever run across people who have been offended and have not forgiven the offender? There is such bitterness towards the offender. Paul tells us that it is a 'root' of bitterness that springs up and causes trouble. The net result is that many become 'defiled' by it.

John Bevere goes into depth with this topic in his excellent book. I am not pitching his book, that is not my intention here. I do regard his book as a resource that covers the ground with grace to counter the roots of bitterness. If anyone were to look deep within their soul and honestly assess that they have not released the offender by which offence entered their life, they may, by the grace of God, realize that they have roots of bitterness choking out blessing.

John takes the reader through, in detail, how offence can occur and what to do about it from a biblical perspective.

In Light Of Recent Events In America

(Note: A Seventh Day Adventist Source)

The Ark Of The Covenant Has Been Located

Ron Wyatt noticed a dried, black substance in an earthquake crack in the roof, above the Ark of the Covenant.

He noticed that this black substance was also on the lid of the cracked stone casing.

Obviously, this substance had dripped from the crack in the roof, and provision had been made for it to land on the Ark of the Covenant, as the stone lid had been cracked and moved aside.

Ron Wyatt wondered what substance could be so sacred, that God made provision for it to land on the Mercy Seat of the Ark of the Covenant.

He remembered the earthquake crack at the foot of the cross hole, and suddenly an awesome realization as to what had happened, came over him.

Ron Wyatt traced the earthquake crack, and indeed it was the same crack as the one at the cross hole.

The dried black substance in the crack was tested and proved to be blood, apparently the blood of Jesus Christ.

The Bible says that when Jesus died there was an earthquake and the rocks were rent (Matt. 27:51).

A Roman soldier speared Christ in His side in order to make sure He was dead, and blood and water poured out (John 19:34).

Ron Wyatt discovered that this same blood and water poured down through the earthquake crack and fell upon the Mercy Seat of the Ark of the Covenant.

I once stood just a few feet above the Ark Of The Covenant!

TO FIND THE ARK, JUST GO TO THE FOOT OF THE CROSS.

"The ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them... to search out a resting place for them."
 (Numbers 10:33).

One of the tasks was therefore to go before God’s people to lead them to a place which would provide rest...

"When ye see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God... ye shall remove from your place, and go after it." (Joshua 3:3).

So could this message still be relevant today?

Where is the final "resting place" God wants to lead His people?

The place where they could obtain true freedom and peace at heart?

To the foot of the cross.

How beautiful, if the purpose of the Ark is to guide us to our resting place, and it traveled all the way to Skull Hill, right at the foot of the cross!"

"Journey of the Ark: From Sinai to Golgotha", page 6, by Rebecca Tourniaire.

Behold

BEHOLD I DO A NEW THING

Thus says the Lord, "I will do a new thing."

On the day of Pentecost no one knew what to expect.

They had no idea that tongues of fire would appear over their heads, and that a sound from heaven like a rushing mighty wind would fill the house where they were sitting.

A spiritual awakening is about to take place, but no one really knows how it will be.

Amos 3:7 indicates that revelation knowledge precedes any move of God’s Spirit.

The early disciples knew to wait in Jerusalem.

They knew when and where to be gathered and that they would receive power after the Holy Ghost came upon them, but they didn’t know how it would happen.

The Lord lets us know when He is about to do something mighty, but it’s always a wonder when He does.

The mysterious ways of God are his to determine and his to reveal.

Modern day Christianity thinks they have it all worked out and that God must act accordingly.

 A new thing!

It’s unlike any other manna that we have ever tasted before.

My eyes are wide open in expectation.

All we can do is yield, surrender and be pliable.

Rejoice and sing, be glad.

Even the softest pure heart is a heart of stone compared to what God desires to create within his church.

The closer I come to him, the more I find that I know nothing.

Nothing at all, as taught in Proverbs 3:5, "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding."

A new thing is about to happen.

 It cannot be figured out.

Greek words have no bearing on how it will happen or where it will happen.

Doctrinal differences whether simple or complex will not detour it.

Mark 13:37, "And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch."

They Are Christian

Jesus Christ Is Personally Appearing To Muslim People And Speaking To Them...

http://www.islameyat.com/post_details.php?id=791&cat=27&scat=139&

First Posted On Sunday, May 03, 2009, can't remember who wrote it...

Cheap grace.

 Greasy grace.

That's what some Christians label the kind of salvation offered by those of us who say that one must simply believe to be saved.

But like many things, it really depends on the perspective from which one views these things.

From the human perspective.

From our side of things, grace, forgiveness, salvation, whichever you prefer to call it, isn't cheap.

"It's free. And as local home electronics and home furnishings mogul Tom Peterson likes to say, "Free is a very good price."

 We can't earn it.

We can't buy it.

 It's impossible.

We can't even do anything to keep it or lose it.

God's laws were never intended to save mankind or provide a way to heaven.

They cannot purify mankind of his sin.

The issue isn't what we have done but what we are.'

 It's one of nature.

We don't sin and become a sinner, we sin because we are sinner.

So God's grace isn't cheap, it's free.

From God's side of things, grace, forgiveness, salvation, whichever you prefer to call it, isn't cheap.

Its cost is beyond our capability to comprehend.

It cost God His Son.

From the moment Jesus was crucified and resurrected, He was fundamentally different from what He was before.

Jesus went through life on this Earth, was falsely accused, was murdered, physically died, took on the sin of all mankind (2 Cor. 5:21) and became sin for us, then was resurrected.

Jesus still has a resurrected, glorified body that, while it is far superior to the bodies we have now, is different from what He was before.

Jesus Christ The Son Of God Or What Happened To The "Jesus People"

John 8:28Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he...

John 12:32And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

The Jesus People of the sixties were very successful in evangelism because they were not pointing to any 'brand name' church or organization of any sort initially. They were not speaking to anyone about a religion or of their way of living life.

No.

They told anyone that would listen about the person of Jesus Christ.

They told people about His great love for them and how He had died for their sins on a cross.

And that Jesus wanted them to accept that fact and be born again.

They earnestly proclaimed "Jesus Loves You" to others and then told the Good News of the Gospel message.

Then slowly that all changed as many older well intentioned men of God took them in and started to organize them and train them in their angle points of the 'Christian experience.'

The message thereafter, that they told others, was altered to 'Come to our church, you will like it. You will be amazed at our Bible teacher etc...

They left the simple lifting up of Jesus before others and became extensions of what ever group had accepted them.

They begun to lift up their particular fellowship or church to others.

No longer were the Jesus People a cohesive family of lovers of Jesus Christ. They had become loyal to their particular brand of Christianity and therefore their message reflected that.

Soon the Jesus People Movement waned and sputtered out until all that was left were differing denominations, fellowships, groups and gatherings.

The message on the street was a subtle "Where do you fellowship?"

If you did not attend one of the 'approved' factions you were given the left foot of fellowship booting out...

The awesome untrained family of the Jesus People that had evangelized the highways and byways of life freely were now educated and would not receive another if they were not of their particular stream of churchianity or doctrinal persuasion.

They left behind, Romans 12:5So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

1 Corinthians 10:17For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.

1 Corinthians 12:13For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

1 Corinthians 12:20But now are they many members, yet but one body.

Ephesians 4:4There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

Colossians 3:15And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

It is a sad fact of history that when Christians are persecuted they tend to lower their sectarian walls and restrictions and only then recognize one another as being in the same family of God, the Body of Christ.

Then they will lift up Jesus Christ before others.

Do you want results in evangelism?

Then lift up Jesus Christ and He will draw all unto Himself.

So simple a child can do it.

Leave behind the message of how wonderful and great your fellowship or church or group is and share Jesus Christ the Son of God Son of Man!

John 10:30I and my Father are one.

John 17:22And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

Romans 12:5So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

1 Corinthians 3:8Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

1 Corinthians 12:12For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

1 John 5:7For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

Sports Snorts

Total Pro Sports - Broken bat hits can often be good for a bloop single.

Sometimes they even get the fielders confused, creating just enough time for the batter to squeak out an infield hit.

But a broken bat home run?

That's just unheard of, unless of course your name is Mark Teixiera, and you are playing in the new Yankee Stadium.

In a game with the Philadelphia Phillies, the Yankee slugger made his way to the plate in the 6th inning with no runners on, his team down by two.

One swing later and Texiera would hit his 13th home run of the season, with only half of the bat remaining in his hands.

The dinger would bring the Yanks within one, and they would eventually tie things up before losing in extra innings.

Some will say that Teixiera, whose numbers have been quickly improving with Alex Rodriguez back, used raw power to get that ball over the fence.

Others will blame the new stadium, which has surrendered 81 homers through its first 21 games.

It is likely that both played factors in the Teixiera bomb, but with the way the ball is flying out of the Yankee Stadium these days, steroids may not be the only issue producing asterisks in the record books.

Look at Texiera's bat shatter after making contact. Doesn't seem to prevent the ball from leaving the park though.

The Truth

What Happened To Shekinah Fellowship?

I have never really been asked by anyone what I think may have happened to Brant Baker's Shekinah Fellowship.

If anyone is interested here would be my answer:

Any ministry comes under spiritual attack, comes with the territory.

Paul had those who followed him around, always trying to kill him if they could.

I even think that his referenced 'thorn~in~the~flesh' might have been those who were always after him.

Think about it.

There he was, someone who had the authority to go after Christians wherever he could find them. Acts 8:3 Acts 9:1

Saul most likely had some equally fervent young men such as himself who were his sidekicks in this task of going after Christians.

Suddenly their leader does a 180! Acts 26:14

Now Saul who has mysteriously changed direction and even to the point of changing his name, is an enemy.

They were livid I am sure and vowed to get Paul.

So we read about this 'thorn' appearing in a lot of places that Paul preaches.Acts 9:24

Brant Baker had a lot of issues on his plate as well as being in a ministry.

A ministry that was having an effect upon so many others.

What Does The Word "Gospel" Mean To You?

The theological "belief-system" of contemporary Christian religion has given definitions to most Biblical words which have a narrow, historical, static connotation, rather than an on-going dynamic meaning.

This has disallowed many Christians from properly understanding the Scriptures, in that they approach the text of Scripture with a static prepositional "grid" of vocabulary and understanding.

It is not that the "popular", orthodox definitions are inaccurate, per Se, only that they are inadequate to convey the vital, Spirit~empowered activity of Christian life.

The need exists to explain the dynamic implications of these Biblical words, and that in complete accordance with their original etymological and linguistic meanings.

"GOSPEL"

It is common knowledge that the word "gospel" means "good news."

The question we must ask is" Good news of what?

Many perceive "gospel" to be the good news of the Christian "belief-system," or the good news of the formulated doctrines of the Church.

Others may think of the good news of the historic advent of Jesus as recorded in the four Gospel narratives of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

The deficiency of these definitions is evidenced in the static quality of both history and theology.

This historicizing and theologizing tendency was evident even from the first century of Christian history.

Ignatius used "gospel" in the dynamic sense of Christ as center and goal of salvation history, but in Iranaeus, Eusebius and Clement of Alexandria the word "gospel" came to designate a tradition, a corpus of teaching, a book or books.

As Gerhard Friedrich indicates in the Theological Dictionary of the New Testament, "The gospel records an historical event, but this event transcends ordinary history.

Similarly, it consists of narratives and teachings, but it also relates to human reality and shows itself to be living power." (Dynamic) "It cannot be grasped in the ordinary way; divine revelation takes place in it.

Martin Luther concurs by writing, "The gospel is not in truth that which is written in books and set down in letters, but rather a spoken message: living word..." (Dynamic)

A more dynamic definition might then be that the "gospel" is the good news of the vital indwelling life of the risen Lord Jesus Christ by which mankind is restored to functional humanity as God intended.

Paul states his theme for Romans, "I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power (dunamis~dynamic) of God for salvation to everyone who believes..."
Romans 1:16

Question: "Does the Bible prophesy a one-world government and a one-world currency in the end times?"

Answer:
The Bible does not use the phrase “one-world government” or “one-world currency” in referring to the end times. It does, however, provide ample evidence to enable us to draw the conclusion that both will exist under the rule of the Antichrist in the last days.

One World Government

There are many details of this coming One World Order throughout the Bible but the most detailed description can be found in the book of the Revelation Chapter 13. Revelation, the final book of the Bible, was written between 65-86 A.D. and is a description of the last years of the Earth leading up to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Revelation 13 is the primary chapter where see a description of society under the rule of The Beast, also known as The Antichrist.

 Here we read:

Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 2And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. 3And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

Here in your own life time these things are taking place!

"Then they will see THE SON OF MAN COMING IN A CLOUD with power and great glory.

When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near."

Luke 21:28

These NWO people will reap the fruit of their actions:

"From his mouth came a sharp sword to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. He will release the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty, like juice flowing from a winepress."

Revelation 19:15

The Government Shall Be Upon His Shoulders
Isaiah 9.2–7; Luke 2.1–20

‘Unto us a child is born; unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulders.’ Unless you sigh with relief at those words, you haven’t really been listening. What we need just now, more obviously than ever in my lifetime, is someone to shoulder the burden, someone who can get under pick up our multiple problems and carry them for us.
Jesus Christ will rule and reign over the earth.

67% Chance That God Exists Calculated By Scientist

A scientist has calculated that there is a 67% chance that God exists

A scientist has calculated that there is a 67% chance that God exists.

Factors that were considered included recognition of goodness, which Dr Unwin said makes the existence of God more likely, countered by things like the existence of natural evil - including earthquakes and cancer.

Gifts And Callings

Restrict the spirit of man.

Restricting or limiting the work and ministry of the Holy Spirit by removing the gifts and callings of God is a very effective device used by Satan to block the power of God’s Spirit from working with the spirit of man.

It stops young people from pursuing the truth of supernatural things from God and attributes them to the devil.

When religious Christianity restricts the five fold ministry of Ephesians 4:11 to only three, they automatically limit the gifts of the Spirit to the 1st century church leaving the younger generation of today with nothing more than dead religion.

The ‘Born again’ spirit is quenched by doctrines of demons that rob new believers.

The dead works of predictable religion are in direct opposition to Romans 11:29, “For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.”

God has not changed his mind about giving all nine gifts of the Spirit that are listed in 1 Corinthians 12:8-10; nor has he revoked any of the five callings of Ephesians 4:11.

According to the WORD OF GOD, the Son of God ascended far above all heavens, that he might fill all things (Ephesians 4:10).

Now that he has ascended, he fills all things.

The scripture does not say that he empties all things, or deletes anything.

It says he fills all things.

The context of Ephesians 4 is that God gave gifts and callings to the church after Jesus ascended.

It does not speak of the gifts and callings that were already in place prior to his ascension.

The twelve apostles of the Lamb were already made apostles before Christ’s ascension.

When God gave some apostles and prophets to the church for the perfecting of the saints and for the work of the ministry it was without question after the ascension.

If the church was already perfected it would not be in need of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors or teachers.

They are given by God for the perfecting of the saints and they will remain in place until such time that, whatever the Bible means by perfection, is complete.

We know that when Jesus comes again we will be like him.

1 John 3:2 “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not appear what we shall be: but we know that when he shall appear, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.”

When does this perfection take place? It cannot happen until Jesus appears.

The answer is in the verse “when he shall appear.”

I Corinthians 13:9-10 says, “For we know in part, and we prophecy in part.

But when that which is perfect (Jesus) has come, then that which is in part shall be done away.”

The Bible is the perfect Word of God, but until the return of Christ the perfect Word of God will not have had its completed perfect work within us.

It is not the Bible that is being perfected, it is us.

The perfecting of the saints is a process.

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2).

This renewing process is by the washing of the water of the word, but it is not the word that is being washed for perfection.

It is the church that God is perfecting, “That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word.

That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish” (Ephesians 5::26-27).

God has not, and will not remove the gifts and callings that he has given to the church until the church age is complete.

What he began, he will continue until the appearing of his Son.

“For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.”

That can only happen when we see Jesus, as 1 Corinthians 13:12 states, “face to face.”

Religion changes the words ‘face to face’ to mean ‘cover to cover’ and say that the Bible, since it is perfect, has replaced the gifts and callings of God.

“Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption” (1 Corinthians 15::50).

The Bible will not change from corruption to incorruption, nor will it inherit the kingdom of God.

It is us, the saints of God who are made perfect, when as 1 Corinthians 13:10 declares, ‘that which is perfect is come’.

Therefore my beloved brethren, be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord and don’t let anybody tell you that the gifts and callings of God have been revoked.

The Holy Spirit Can Be Quenched By You

1 Thessalonians 5:19 Quench not the Spirit.

Quench not-the Spirit being a holy fire: "where the Spirit is, He burns" [Bengel]

To quench is to extinguish or put out a fire.

God implies the Holy Spirit in us is as a fire and should not be dampened.

Matthew 3:11:I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

Hebrews 12:29:For our God is a consuming fire.

It is interesting to note that on the day of Pentecost the apostles saw a vision of "tongues as of fire."

They then manifested forth the new spirit within by speaking in tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:4).

We have been given so much ability to exercise the power of God.

Our freedom of will determines how much of that power we will bring forth.

We have the powerful Word of God at our disposal as well as the spirit of God within us.

People hear a lot of words spoken but rarely do they see the genuine power of God unless a believer is manifesting it.

God wants us to use it not quench it.

I Corinthians 2:4 and 5:And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

The connection in which the exhortation, "Quench not the Spirit" occurs, shows to what it refers.

The next sentence is, "Despise not prophesying."

It has to do with the gifts of the Spirit and their exercise in the holy liberty and power of the Spirit.

"Quench not the Spirit" would go further, and warns us against any attempt to shut out, or impose limits on the free action of the Holy Spirit in the gifts He has entrusted to the saints.

The word quench means to suppress or stifle.

"Quench not"--as if it were a candle flame,--a fire, which might be extinguished.
.
Don’t throw cold water on someone else who is operating under the power and fire of God!

Do not throw water on yourself from doing the same thing by resisting the move of the Spirit and smothering it out.
.
The Pharisees restrict the flow of spiritual experiences until religion becomes a purely intellectual and theological exercise, and the Spirit is quenched.

Pharisaism was heretical in spite of its theological correctness.

The Pharisee's real problem was that they drastically overvalued the role of theology in spiritual life and made theological correctness the chief religious virtue.

(I know of webblogs where people are doing that today!)

They had a man~given confidence in their theology.

 Their faith became intellectualized.

Their center of faith moved from the heart to the head.

A sign of this was the way that they bombarded Jesus with theological questions.
.
The Pharisee's self~evaluation was that they were on the forefront of what God was doing for Israel.

Jesus judgement of them was different:
Matthew 23:29-33 (King James Version)
29Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,

30And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.

31Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.

32Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.

33Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
.
Although they believed themselves to be the protectors of orthodoxy, the Pharisees were really the opponents of the Holy Spirit.

All Pharisaism contains tragic elements of missed opportunities.

They stood in the way of the person of the Holy Spirit at work.

They are "witch hunters" who like to point out errors and win their case.
.
On the other hand, well meaning workers in ministry want to help individuals from being
presumptuous.

When Christians begin to appropriate specific promises in Scripture as being applicable to themselves and nothing happens they can become very confused and disillusioned.

Yes the Holy Spirit can and does speak to individuals, and it is often through Scripture.

But one must use discernment, is it really the voice of God or is it presumption?
.
We want to encourage and to inspire others to move out in the power of the Holy Spirit while helping them to avoid presumption.

A very fine line, if we are not careful we could 'throw the baby out with the bath water.'
.
Many people were upset with Jesus because He claimed to know the mind and heart of God, to speak directly for God, to reveal God's mind and heart towards an individual or group of individuals.

Therefore they threw Him out with the bathwater!

They missed Jesus Christ, Almighty God the Master Creator because of their resistance to what He was and what He was saying.

They clung tightly to their orthodoxy and their drastically overvalued theology and therefore they missed Jesus for who He truly is.
.
Are we upset at those who attempt to have an active faith idealism?
.
Ephesians 3:20 (New King James Version)
20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.
.
I like that, "ask or think."

What are the implications of this scripture?

Can we have faith with a vision?

Can we think while using our minds eye to see our thoughts realized.

Can we see ourselves ministering to others before it happens?

Lonnie Frisbee did and look what he accomplished in his short life time.

Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
.
God does call us to serve Him. He does give us a hope for a future.

If you know that you know, that He has called you to a task.

And you hold that vision dear, what will be the result?

There will be opposition from those who hold to rigid legalistic rules with tight boundaries.

"You can't do that!

 Your a dreamer!"
.
Genesis 37:5And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.
.
And yet Joseph was the deliverance for all of his brothers and their kin.

Do you have a vision a dream?

Are you willing to suffer the contempt of others as you pursue your dream, your vision?

Will you hold true to your vision and your dream through the years knowing that our God cannot lie?
.
Titus 1:2In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
.
You know that you know, that God has planted a vision and a dream within you.

 A passion!

Circumstances matter nothing whatsoever in the light of what God has placed within you.

You know your God.

You know what He has done and what He is capable of doing.
.
Sight is a function of the eyes; vision is a function of the heart.

You don't see anything happening at all and yet you know that you know that God will perform that which He has promised.

You see what will be.
.
You know what will be!
.
"Where there is no vision, the people perish."
King Solomon Proverbs 29:18
.
Do you have a vision?

Jesus had a vision and He knew it.

"For this reason I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth."

John 18:37
.
It is important for you to know your vision.

To know what you are meant to do.

What has God prepared you for?

Don't bury your dreams.

Don't give up on your God given vision.

You have a reason and a purpose for your life and you know it.
.
"Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might."
Ecclesiastes 9:10
.
Your purpose is your passion.

It gives you hope and keeps you going because you know that what God has given to you to accomplish cannot be stopped by anyone!

You are immortal here on earth until God's will in your life has been accomplished.
.
But you have to fight for it, you have to believe in it, you have to put your whole might behind it.

You have to stay in the race and see it to completion.

You have to believe in the gift or gifts that God has placed within you. "A man's gift...brings him before great men." Proverbs 18:16.
.
"For this reason I remind you to fan to a flame the gift of God, which is in you." 2 Timothy 1:6

You have a human responsibility to fan to a flame your gift.

Stir up the gift of God.

No one can activate your gift but you.

You have to do it yourself.
.
You do this by reason of usage, just as a bodybuilder does with weight resistance to accomplish growth.

Stir up your own gift and don't seek other people's gifting.

You are created uniquely to be what you are to better to do God's will.

You are an original, not an imitator.

Be who you are and God's.
.

i believe that the Lord would say to you:

"Today there are few, among the millions our Father has sent to the earth~world, who give themselves and their lives with total dedication to Me.

There are many dedicated ones who say, "Take my whole life", and then proceed to live it according to their own idea of My will.

Thank you, My workers, for wanting above all other things to work with Me for My will.
.
Do nothing that is not My will.

This is the secret of not hurrying.

Do what is My will in My time, leaving the weight of responsibility to be carried by Me."

 ***
As the days start growing darker and good is called evil and evil called good the Holy Spirit will empower those who have availability and are yielded to Him.

The time of the latter rain has come and those who were promised that the latter rain would be greater than the former are about to experience the explosive power of the Holy Spirit moving through them in ministering to others and displaying the power of God.

Be not intimidated.

You have seen others promoted to position while it were as if you had been left on the bench and not called forth.

Look not to the right nor to the left, keep a steadfast focus upon the Lord Jesus Christ.

Embrace the vision and the calling that He has given you so long ago.

Believe in what you have been told and shown by Christ.

For the first shall be last and the last shall be first.

Greater darkness calls for greater light!

Those who have gone on before you had light but the light will increase in these dark days ahead for those who are still here serving.

Dare to allow yourself to dream the dream to entertain the vision and the call placed upon you by the Holy Spirit like warm oil flowing down and anointing you for service.

Stark Reality will impact you as you seek to fulfill your destiny in Christ.

For God Almighty is calling for His sons and daughters to leave their caves.

To get out upon the hill and to let their light so shine that the world may know that Jesus lives!

The Holy Spirit awaits you!

He desires to move in might and power through you as you represent Christ to a broken world.

Quench not the Spirit.

Fan to a flame that which is within you.
