San Francisco-based photographer Timothy Archibald began photographing the habits of his autistic son, Elijah, when he was 5 years old. He wanted to capture the unique perspective of his son so he could show them to behavioural specialists, but the project quickly grew into so much more.


“One Photo a Day in The Worst Year of my Life” is a project that seeks to document one year of domestic abuse. The woman in the video appears as a victim of violence and takes one photo of herself each day for an entire year. The video was made by the Serbian anti-domestic-violence organization Sigurna Kuća.

To Protect Battered Women, You Have to Protect Their Pets

 The Trans-Pacific Partnership, a highly secretive trade agreement that Internet advocates call "one of the worst global threats to the Internet," got a little less secret Wednesday. It would lead to Internet censorship. 

We have been lied to and told that astronauts have left near earth orbit and actually gone to the moon and back.  That would mean that these moon dudes would have been exposed to massive doses of radiation. No one can take such doses and live. Space radiation: Should frequent flyers worry? We’re bombarded with the radiation of supernovae and other cosmic sources when we fly – how concerned should we be?
