Reclusive part-time worker sells Siri

A CHRISTMAS ADVERT created by Apple shows Santa Claus making the most of Siri, its voice activated personal assistant for Ithings.

Apple has taken the image of Santa, who does exist in case any kids are reading, and used it to hawk Siri in a video that so far we have only seen on Youtube.

In the advert Santa is seen asking Siri for updates on the weather and funny things like that. He is even able to ask it for directions to childrens' homes, which we hope is an application that is unique to him.

All in all, it's really great if you like to see Christmas traditions taken over by large companies. Coca Cola has been doing it for years.

At the end of the advert Santa asks Siri how the rest of his day is looking, and the assistant shows up a calender application, which appears to give each child between three and four minutes per delivery. It is already close to midnight on Christmas Eve, judging by the screen, and according to the information above Santa still has some 3.7 billion appointments to make.

If he spends three to four minutes at each, there are going to be some late deliveries this Christmas, at least by our maths. Bah humbug.
